We are Looking for Sr.Design Engineer (AC/DC Motors) for the US Based MNC Located in Bangalore.


Position: Senior Design Engineer – Motors

Qualification: Bachelor/Master in mechanical engineering discipline Location: India Technical Centre office in Manyata Embassy Business Park Experience: 5+ years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the motor programs/activities at Bangalore.
  • Interact with the COE for execution of the motor programs.
  • Provide Concept designs and development services.
  • Product Design and Development
  • Participate and contribute for product development
  • Root cause analysis of an issue and provide a solution
  • Interact and coordinate with Design Lead/Supervisor to ensure the on time delivery
  • Maintain positive external and internal customer satisfaction
  • Enable the learning within the team by doing knowledge sharing.
  • Innovation and continuous improvement within the competency.
  • Work and collaborate with cross cultural team.
  • Compliance to processes & guidelines
  • Assist in training new and contract Engineers/Designers.
  • Assist customers, plants, and department personnel to ensure that projects are worked in accordance with department priorities.

    • Job Requirements:

  • Mandatory to have Experience in plastic and sheet metal design, preferably Automotive domain.
  • Mandatory to have Catia V5 experience on part design, product design and drafting .
  • Mandatory to have exposure to calculate stack up analysis.
  • Added advantage to have proficiency in using tools like Team Center, GD&T.
  • Added advantage of having experience in DC Motor design
  • Ability to understand product, customer requirements and prepare drawings and BOM
  • Ability to communicate well in technical discussion
  • Flexibility to work in shift
