Job Responsibilities:

Lab /Analytical Equipment, Consumables, Spares & Packing Materials Procurement

  • Should have an experience in handling Lab Equipment procurement, Lab Chemicals, Lab Consumables – HPLC/GC columns, Laboratory Glassware, Centrifuge/filter bags, USP & EP reference standards, LR Grade materials, Microbiology media items, Housekeeping, Safety items and stationery.
  • Finalizing Capex for analytical equipment’s/instruments-HPLC/GC and other analytical instruments for QC and AR&D departments in plants.
  • Finalizing of AMC & CMCs of QC analytical instruments.
  • Procurement of API related packing materials procurement (HDPE drums, polythene bags etc).
  • Send RFQ’s, prepare comparisons, Negotiations, PO releases and active follow up for all material deliveries.
  • Daily PR’s reviews with planning and plant team on priorities and ensure 100% OTIF for all lab consumables
  • Vendor Development for lab consumables, LR grade materials, Packing Materials with better price, quality and service.
  • Pending Purchase orders/service order follow up, closure of old payments and regular payments to vendors.
  • Finalizing annual contracts for lab consumables, spares etc.
  • LC & TT Preparation for import lab /analytical equipment Procurement and close follow up with Finance team for timely release of payments.
  • Close co-ordination with plant teams (CFT’s), end users and timely support for resolving vendor related concerns.
  • Arrange vendor discussions with end users specially for Capex equipment’s, visits of suppliers to plants to resolve service-related issues, AMC concerns etc.
  • Procurement of Liquid Nitrogen and daily schedules and deliveries to respective API Plants
