Job Summary:

Responsible for all utilities in LVMP, SVMP and BEC facilities with respect to Operation & Maintenance of HVAC, Water System, Compressed Air, BMS and other black utilities like Chiller, steam boiler and electrical power distribution system. Also responsible for Facility qualification and QMS compliance in the respective areas including training and adherence to GMP activities and other activities as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure to provide required utilities to Company as per the respective department’s requirements with 100% availability of utility services and operates in full compliance with, all regulatory requirements and according to established safety norms.

2. Excellent problem solving skills of HVAC, water and other utility system

3. Provide strong leadership to people management skills of both unionized and staffs with full governance on safety, delivery and proactive customer support

4. Bring Harmonized ways of working across all facilities wrt ways of working and knowledge impartment

5. Strong exposure to various regulatory inspections with strong articulation skills and lead from front.

6. Strong collaboration skills to influence CFT & peer team for ontime closure of documentation and proactive support

7. Worked on handson on AHUs, Chilling system, High pressure boiler, Puified water system, 11/66 Kv Electrical disutribution system, large capacity Diesel generators, Effluent treatment plant and compressed air system of various makes of manaufacturers

8. End to End accountability of entire utility system performance, Able to drive continuous improvement in utility system and bring changes in the ways of working

9. Handled multiple Utility system projects starting from URS stage to commissioning & qualification

10. Good exposure to project amangement skills, spares inventory management, facility operation and multiple vendor management skills

11. Strong exposure to Statutory norms and handled various inspections of factory, Boiler and pollution inspectorate is required

12. Hands-on experience of Operation budgeting process inclusing zero based budgeting process

13. Ensure adherence to procedure vs practices and Good documentation practices.

14. Manage and provide leadership for engineering staff and contract employees.

15. Ensure for all the equipment’s online documentation are maintained all time.

16. Liaise with the QA Department to co-ordinate for the preparation, development and implementation of SOPs,

17. To ensure timely renewal of contracts, statutory requirements. (Like CEIG, Boiler inspectorate etc.,).

18. Ensuring with the Engineering Personnel for calibration of instruments / equipment’s/Qualification and Re-evaluation of Equipment’s to be performed as per Schedule.

19. Ensure and maintain safe work place at Company all time in coordination with EHS Personnel.

20. Implementation of SOPs/Equipment Qualification /Engineering Personnel Training Programs.

21. Scheduling/participation of training sessions related to cGMP, Regulatory, latest Technical & Industrial developments related to Engineering.

22. Execute/Coordinate/Qualify Upcoming Engineering Projects in Line With cGMP, User Requirement.

23. Review of Facility Layouts in line with Regulatory Requirements.

24. Ensuring quality culture for cGMP compliance.

25. Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance.

27. Ensure adherence of team members (direct reports) with all compliance programs and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

o Candidate should have handled large volume utilities of 5 bio capacity

o Handling large workforce of both Inhouse and external resource

o Hands-on knowledge in clean and black utilities.

o Hands-on skills of Trouble shooting and problem solving skills.

o Strong energy conservation initiatives and Preferred certified energy manager

o Works effectively towards acheiveing the engineering compliance

o Should have good interpersonal and communicational skills

o Should have adequate knowledge and skills in QMS activities

o Should have competent verbal & written communication skills.

o Hands on experience in SAP, MS Office, Auto Cad tools, etc.

o Hands on experience in QMS applications would be an added advantage

o Should be exposed to any of the regulatory audits like USFDA, MHRA, TGA, WHO, etc.
