Part development

  • Price estimation for new parts
  • Prepare & Update ALM in defined frequency
  • Specification review
  • Info record approval & PO release (Part/Capex)
  • Ensure First time right at BTPL

Pre series supply

  • PPAP approval
  • Update DD in SAP on every Monday for N. N+1 week
  • Ensuring OTD against weekly Scheduling for responsible parts/Vendors
  • Daily DRM of Day wise Plan Vs Actual (Yesterday, today & Week)
  • Weekly review on GAP analysis

Supplier development

  • Identify potential Suppliers & Conduct Initial assessment
  • GTC/ GPA Sign off
  • Pricing agreement as per pricing template
  • Closure of audit open/improvement points to reach target
  • Capacity creation

Cost Reduction as per departmental Targets

  • Identify the projects for cost reduction
  • Negotiate price reduction on deployed projects
  • Manage Share of Business in cost effective sources when more than 2 sources available
  • Create & Maintain MIS for cost reduction

Pricing framework agreement with strategic suppliers

  • Develop pricing template for each category of part family with clear price movement clause
  • Commodity Ownership & Supplier Engagement

    • Periodic commodity analysis
    • Budgeting & Compliance
    • Capacity review of commodity supplier for the medium term (6 months) & Long term (3 years) and identify actions
    • Resolving chronic quality issues and achieving PPM target
    • Communicate Vendor ratings to supplier on Pre-defined frequency & improve low performers
    • Record supplier issue and respond with target date for resolution
    • Track and close supplier issues as per committed date

  • Closure of alerts as per target
  • QMS & Statutory Compliance

  • Zero non-conformance
  • ECN

    • ON TIME implementation
    • Zero Obsolescence
    • Periodic drawing revision level supplier confirmation
